The #9 sports moment for Twin Cedars and Melcher-Dallas goes to the Saints. Until last fall, the Bluegrass Conference had never held a cross country meet. So it was fitting that three Saints runners would make history as Addi Wadle, who finished 2nd in the time of 22:44, Haley Stegman, who placed 3rd in a time of 23:30, and Trista Hansaker in 9th with a time of 26:16 would be the first runners in Saints history to get all-Bluegrass Conference. The meet was held in Moravia, and with all three returning this fall, more all-conference designations are sure to come.
