The National Balloon Classic will feature a new event tonight, the Sky is Alive Drone Show. Executive Director Staci Scheurenbrand tells KNIA News this is Iowa’s first drone show of its kind, as hundreds of synchronized drones will flash colors to create images in real time, sponsored by the Indianola HyVee. Tonight will also feature a Nite Glow Extravaganza, with Kick on the Trubank Live Stage playing music beginning at 6pm.
