Indianola has been the site of multiple events over the last week, including RAGBRAI, the Warren County Fair, the Celebrate Warren County Parade, Indianola Art Fair, and the ongoing National Balloon Classic. Indianola City Manager Ben Reeves tells KNIA News the events put together were just one big showcase of the city, and the city shined throughout all of it.

“We sure know how to put it all on at the exact same time. That makes it a little bit challenging, but what a great opportunity for those coming to visit our community. Our beautiful art show, parade, and wonderful Warren County Fair. Everything went seamlessly there with safety at the forefront this year and we are really glad for their participation in that. Unfortunately the weather hasn’t been the best for the National Balloon Classic, but we just support them so much. We are just excited to see our balloon pilots in town and will do everything to support them.”
