The Pella Aquatic Center achieved an “Exceeds” rating on their most recent audit conducted on July 28. The center undergoes audits several times per year by Jeff Ellis & Associates, Inc. (E&A), an International Aquatic Safety and Risk Management Consulting firm. During the audit process, lifeguards are evaluated on their individual lifeguarding and rescue-ready skills, including live action drills for spinal management and CPR scenarios. Four of Pella’s lifeguards received an “Exceeds” score during their individual evaluations on July 28th.
