The second annual Knoxville Downtown Market will be held on Saturday, August 10th. 

The market will be held on the Knoxville square from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm and will also coincide with the regular Knoxville Farmers Market. Knoxville Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Nathan Sage hopes to see a good turnout for the market, and encourages those visiting the city for the Knoxville Nationals to join them..

“This is our second year of doing it. We will continue doing it next year and hopefully make it a little bigger after the construction is done. The idea is to keep people downtown before, after, and during the parade we want to keep as much business and entertainment downtown as possible. We have a lot of cool vendors coming in. We have licensed vendors from NASCAR and World of Outlaws and things like that. We just have a lot of cool opportunities for people to shop local, be downtown, check out our local businesses, and enjoy the parade.”

Over 5,000 people attended the event last year according to the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce.
