Counting down the top 10 moments of the 2023-24 school year for Simpson College with #5

Simpson baseball pitcher Trey Castile made history this past season, becoming the storied programs all-time strikeout leader in April. Castile had 84 strikeouts on the season, pushing him past the previous record held by teammate Brady Held at 231, and Castile ended the season with 263. Head coach Nathan Roling said Castile has continued a long legacy of success on the mound for Simpson baseball, and now sees his name atop the leaderboard amongst great company.

Castile has one more year of eligibility, and will return next season to extend the record.
