The 2024 Knoxville Nationals Queen Contest will be held tonight at Dyer Hudson Hall.

The contest will start at 6:00 pm and will feature a variety of candidates from all over the country. The candidates go through a daytime portion of the contest, and tonight, a winner will be crowned after answering interview questions in front of the audience. Last year’s winner was Abbey Jackson from Knoxville, and she said sprint car racing brings the entire community together.

“I think anybody in Knoxville would say our community is the best part. We’re such a small town, but everybody knows each other and it’s such a good place to call home and I think that community mixed with the racing community is just a surreal experience. Getting the support from people all over the world that do not know you, but love the sport of racing. It just brings everybody together.”

Stay tuned to KNIA/KRLS for the announcement of who wins the 2024 contest.
