Claiming the number three spot for PCM top sports stories of the 2023-2024 school year is four wrestlers qualifying for the state tournament.

On Saturday, February 10th at their state qualifying meet in Atlantic, four Mustangs were able to punch their ticket to the State Wrestling Tournament in Des Moines. The Mustangs qualified Kaliber Fry in the 113 pound weight class as a champion along with brother Remington in the 138 pound weight class as a runner-up. Tucker Wheeler qualified as a runner-up at 144 pounds and Hewitt Brinegar qualified as a district champion. Wheeler placed fourth at the state tournament
