Counting down the top 10 moments of the 2023-24 school year for Indianola High School with #1.

The Indianola volleyball team made the class 4A state championship game in for the first time in school history this past fall, finishing as the runner-up for their best finish in program history.

The Indians were led by a group of talented returning athletes, and qualified to state in dominating fashion after not dropping a set in the regional semifinal or final.
Indianola earned the #2 overall seed at state, but ran into a tough first round matchup against #7 Marion. The Indians fell behind 2-1 after the third set, but rallied to win sets four and five to advance to the semifinals against Lewis Central. The Indians led 2-1 after the third set, but dropped the fourth to set up a close fifth set to see who would compete against North Scott in the class 4A title game.

Indianola fell to the Lancers in the state title game, but return a talented team for this year.
