Coming off another great year of athletics on Eagle Lane, Pella Christian is looking forward to duplicating that success this upcoming school year.

Eagles Athletic Director Dan Branderhorst says he is thankful to have great coaches that help fuel the success of athletes and build positive cultures around their programs. Branderhorst also said that he is grateful for the coaches’ dedication to the standards of Pella Christian athletics and the time they dedicate to their respective sports.

“Our coaches do a great job of reaching our principles and really accomplishing the mission of what we are and who we are at Pella Christian. Our coaches do a good job of maximizing our athletes, whether that be getting them to be the best mentally or physically, whatever that sport demands. They’re intentional about character development. They know that at Pella Christian we want our sports activities to be fun, we want to really promote team culture and relationships towards the common goal, and obviously, we want to point our kids to Christ. And so, first and foremost, our coaches do a phenomenal job of really accomplishing those bigger picture things.”

The Pella Christian fall sports teams will kick-off the 2024-2025 athletic year later this month, with the cross country teams set to open all events on August 29th in Marshalltown.
