The Indianola girls cross country team had a stellar 12th place finish at the 2023 state cross country meet in Fort Dodge to end their season last year, led by a 7th place finish and All-State honors for senior Gracie Foster on her way to breaking the school record.

The Indians will have to try and replace the contributions of Foster, but will look to lean on the experienced varsity runners who all competed at state including incoming senior Jordyn Brown, and incoming sophomores Hadley Erickson, and Paige and Lilly Hoger, as well as junior Leah Hartford among others.

The team begins their 2024 campaign on August 27th at DMACC.
