The Indianola boys cross country team were led by six underclassman for the majority of 2023, which included a fourth place finish in a loaded Little Hawkeye Conference meet, with the varsity roster featuring mostly sophomores and freshmen. The Indians incoming juniors Reed Robbins, Keifer Barnes, Paxton Bloom have been contributors at the varsity level for the past several years, with incoming juniors Sam Appel, Isaiah Thomsen, Kingston Bloom, and Owen Welling competing at state qualifying helping Indianola to a 6th place finish.

The Indians begin their season September 3rd at Dallas Center-Grimes.
