The Indianola football team has five home games this year due to the reversal of the schedule, with the away games set to come in difficult places. The Indians will have to travel to Urbandale and Pella in non-district play, then make trips to Ballard, Boone, and ADM in district play. The Indians placed second in the district last year, falling only to district champion North Polk, but will have to try and replicate close wins against Pella and Ballard on the road, where Indianola was just 1-3 away from Indianola Stadium going 4-1 at home in the regular season. The Indians season starts August 30th at Urbandale.
