The Indianola School District is ready for school to begin, with students set to start classes on August 23rd. Superintendent Tara Paul tells KNIA News
“We are absolutely ready, it’s like peeling off the layers of an onion. I started in July, now it’s at that next level. New teachers, then all the staff is coming back. It’s exciting. For me it’s like Christmas Eve then Christmas Day. All the new things that come, and the kids and staff are so excited. So we are ready to welcome everybody back and have a great year.”
Paul said new teachers have gone through their orientation, and they will be joined by returning teachers this week before classes begin.
