The different look to the Knoxville Volleyball Squad this season will have a few familiar names in the line up but in different positions. Last year, Brittany Bacorn was the primary setter, but now she is playing in college at the University of Tulsa. Panthers Coach Mollie Keitges tells KNIA/KRLS Sports Addy Dunkin will likely have to step into that role this season. Dunkin had 57 assists last year playing setter at times depending on what the rotation dictated. Keitges says Dunkin may be the go to setter this season along with a few other players needing to step into crucial roles.

Keitges: “We dabbled with her during a rotation or two near the end of the season so she’ll have to step up to that. I hope I can keep Abbie at libero depending on line ups, and Siena will have to step up in that front row as well, and we’ll likely use Addy Williams too so everyone will have to step up.”

Knoxville will have a scrimmage with Pella on Tuesday at Pella High. Fans are encouraged to bring clothing donations for The Well. Action is set to get underway at 5:30.
