When Jason Mason officially took over the head football coach post at Melcher-Dallas, one thing he wanted to instill immediately was the Saint Pride. Mason is a Melcher-Dallas native and graduated from Melcher-Dallas and knows what it is like to have a competitive football squad. Mason tells KNIA Sports it all starts with having pride in the program.

Mason: “So definitely we were a competitive team then, and trying to get that back in the program, and it’s also the disciplines, the hard work and remembering the tradition of this football program.”

The Saints will have a week zero game at Murray this Friday, kick off is set for 7:00.
