Work on the downtown Indianola square is nearing completion, with the finishing touches of Phase 9 completed pavement markings in parking lots near the northeast corner.
The west alley and parking lot is scheduled to reopen to the public by Friday, August 30. Indianola Municipal Utilities will continue working in the alleyway near the parking lot, which may cause temporary lane closures in both the alley and parking lot as work progresses.
The city asks for commuters to continue to exercise caution in the area, and be mindful of vehicles, pedestrians, construction workers, and equipment. Find more information below.
