August is National Immunization Awareness Month, a month that highlights the importance of getting recommended vaccines throughout your life. Warren County Health Services Director Dr. Joelle Stolte tells KNIA News they offer immunization clinics every Wednesday or by appointment, and can offer services to uninsured, underinsured, and even fully insured individuals that need to get up to date on their vaccinations. Stolte also said the COVID-19 pandemic delayed a lot of scheduled vaccinations so many adults are not as up to date as they should be, and there is a national effort to get the routine vaccination schedule back to normal.
