The Knoxville Music Boosters are close to their fundraising goal for new choir robes, and they are looking for continued donations.
The boosters are trying to raise $20,000 for the new robes. After the new robes are received, they want to stitch on a Knoxville logo. The current robes used by the Knoxville High School choir are outdated, according to Director Ian Heetland, and the department is hoping to gather some community donations through this capital campaign.
“We are looking to get these robes upgraded. I don’t think we’ve had a new robe design for a handful of years, so we’re really looking for some community members to get on board and maybe help with that and donate if they have their time, talent, and funds.”
If you or your business would like to make a donation you can do so by contacting the Knoxville Music Boosters.
