Several offices throughout Marion, Warren, and Jasper Counties will be closed Monday in observance of the Labor Day Holiday.
Knoxville City Hall and all other city offices will be closed Monday, along with the Knoxville Post Office, Knoxville Public Library and financial institutions. The Marion County Courthouse offices will also be closed. In Pella, City Hall, Community Services, Electric Distribution, Planning and Zoning, Public Library, Public Works, and Telecommunications departments will be closed in observance of the holiday. Indianola, Norwalk, and Warren County Offices will be closed to the public for the holiday, as will non-emergency departments including Indianola City Hall and the Administration Office of the Indianola Police Department. TRM disposal service routes in Indianola for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will be delayed by 1 day each. Thursday and Friday routes will remain on their regular schedule. All Jasper County offices will be closed for Labor Day on Monday. In Newton, city offices, the public library, and the post office will be closed for the holiday, and Dodd’s Trash Hauling and Recycling routes on Monday will be run on Tuesday.
Emergency services will still be available 24/7 and anyone needing assistance is asked to call 911. Many retailers will also close for the holiday.
