The class 4A #13 Knoxville Volleyball Squad will open defense of its South Central Conference title on the road against Albia tonight. The Panthers went 2-1 last Monday in Ottumwa beating Oskaloosa and class 4A #4 Carlisle along the way. Hannah Dunkin, Jordyn Counts and Rylyn McCarty all are in double figure kills with Dunkin leading the way with 25. McCarty already has seven blocks. Coach Mollie Keitges says the team is farther along than she was hoping for early on. Albia, meanwhile, has jumped out to a 4-1 start on the season. Knoxville has mostly dominated the series in the Bound Era owning a 21-2.
