The Pella School Board will consider a previously tabled contract proposal for mental health services at their meeting on Monday. If approved, the $32,500 agreement with Classroom Clinic would provide telehealth counseling from licensed therapists. The board will also consider tabled motions for facilities agreements related to bowling and eSports. Additionally, the first reading of changes to the 300 series of policies in the district handbook will be considered, followed by a work session reviewing progress related to the 2024 Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress. The board will also review the annual learning target goals for the district this academic year. At the end of the meeting, Superintendent Greg Ebeling will share the first-day-of-school enrollment count, which appears to be higher than in 2023. The Pella School Board meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the Pella High School Library.
