The Indianola School Board meets in regular session Monday, which includes a discussion regarding possible changes to the Indianola “Indians” nickname, as requested by School Board member Eric Christensen.

The board will also consider a change in district policy regarding elementary school placement of staff children, also at the request of board member Christensen, the FY2024 audit, authorization to make bank transactions, the sale of general obligation bonds for the next round of payments for the Indianola High School Construction project, and hear reports from the board technology, facilities, and policy committee meeting.

The meeting takes place in the Indianola High School Auditorium at 5:30pm.
