Both the Indianola boys and girls cross country teams ran well at Urbandale on Saturday, the girls with six finishes in the top 10 to place first, while the boys placed second with two finishes in the top six.

The Indians girls had a first place finish from Jordyn Brown for meet medalist honors, followed closely by Paige Hoger, Michaela Appel, Lilly Hoger, and Taylor Hoger finishing third-sixth respectively, while Keira Labertew placed ninth and Leah Hartford 11th.

The boys were led by a fourth place finish from Reed Robbins, and a sixth place finish by Jake Robidoux, with Paxton Bloom and Isaiah Thomsen, Sam Appel, and Keifer Barnes placed 13-16th.
Both teams next compete Thursday at Marshalltown.
