The annual Knoxville citywide clean up will start on Monday.

The event will be held until Friday and the city needs all items on the curb by 7:00 am Monday morning. Trucks will make one pass through town and items need to be left on the curb until they have been collected. Items that are accepted include unwanted household items, furniture, mattresses, bicycles, toys, strollers, grills, patio furniture and landscaping material. Knoxville City Manager Heather Ussery says information regarding what can and can’t be picked up can be found on the city website.

“They’ll start at one end of town and make one pass through and they don’t go back so make sure you get your stuff out so they’re able to take that. On the city’s website as well as social media we have the flier which says what the approved items and the non-approved items are. If you have any questions about something not listed on the flier you can always call Midwest Sanitation and check with them.”

See the below flier for the list of accepted and unaccepted items.
