The Knoxville Football Squad will have an unusual week preparing for a game that does not happen on Friday, but a day earlier on Thursday. Knoxville travels to play Des Moines Hoover. Hoover as with all of the Des Moines Public Schools share Mediacom Stadium, which is next to the Knapp Center at Drake University. Coach Matt Dunkin and the coaching staff will try to keep the week as normal as they can. He says the real difference is combining Monday and Tuesday practices.

Dunkin: “We’re going to try and do everything we can to keep our schedule as normal as possible. We’ll combine our Monday/Tuesday Practice getting some install and walkthrough, then go into full practice. Tuesday we’ll full pads and get after it, and Wednesday will be our typical walkthrough. So try to keep everything as normal as we can.”

Bottom line, it is still a game that his team will play and try to win. Live coverage can be heard Thursday night starting with the pregame at seven and kick off from Mediacom Stadium at 7:30.
