The Knoxville Optimist Club is holding a “Treats in the Park” event on Saturday, October 19th.

The event will be held at Auld Park from 2:00-4:00 pm and the Optimist Club says they have been able to continue expanding this event with the support of community organizations, civic groups, and volunteers. The club is seeking out community support to continue growing the event and making it possible. The group typically expects about 400 kids and they ask groups to pass out candy, decorate a table or car, and dress up. 

If you would like to participate you can confirm to the club by October 5th.
