The Melcher-Dallas Volleyball Squad posted its first win in the new gymnasium on Tuesday as the Saints defeated Moravia in four sets 25-6, 20-25, 25-10 and 25-23. Coach Jesyka Nolte told KNIA Sports her team played well and did not let the homecoming festivities distract them. Maddy DeJong led the Saints with seven kills, while Haylie Hendrickson and Kesley Reed had five. Kianna Jackson and Jenna Mickey were both outstanding behind the service line as they had identical 18/19 nights with Jenna getting six aces and Kianna serving up four. Melcher-Dallas is now 3-2 on the season and will host its own invitational on Saturday.
