A Norwalk resident was arrested and charged with a threat of terrorism by the Norwalk Police Department on Monday.

On September 10th, the Norwalk Police Department was made aware of a potential threat to the Norwalk School District, specifically Oviatt Elementary School. The Norwalk Police Department initiated an investigation and coordinated a response with Norwalk Community School District staff. The investigation revealed that Margaret Anderson, also known as Maxwell Anderson, made a threat to harm students at the Norwalk Community School District. 

Anderson was then taken into custody and processed into the Warren County Jail. Anderson is currently being held without bond.
