The latest show put together by the Newton Community Theatre opened this weekend. Last night was the first performance of Agatha Christie’s “Murder on the Orient Express”. Newton Community Theatre Board member Scott Schaeffer has the lead. His first performance with the Newton Community Theatre was in 2010, in the musical “Annie”. He says it has changed his life.

“It’s been incredible. Honestly it’s been a life changing experience. I have met people I otherwise would not have met. I’ve had experiences that otherwise I would not have had the pleasure to experience. It’s very much enriched my life”.

The cast and crew of “Murder on the Orient Express” will perform the play this weekend and next Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
