United Way of Jasper County’s Free “Voices of Inspiration” fall series will come to an end tomorrow. Local author, publisher, and historian Mike Chapman will speak at the Newton DMACC Auditorium. Chapman worked in newspapers for more than four decades, founded and ran two magazines, penned more than 30 books and founded the now-closed Iowa Wrestling Museum in Newton. He has also traveled the country and the world. Doors for his  Voices of Inspiration talk will open at 6:00 Thursday evening, with the speech to begin at 6:30. The DMACC Auditorium in Newton is located at 600 North 2nd Avenue West. Free will donations are accepted to help sustain this United Way of Jasper County program.
