The Pella Fire Department is kicking off Fire Prevention Week with their annual breakfast at their station on Main Street. Assistant Chief Mike Branderhorst says both at the October 5th event and at local schools the following week, the department will be sharing information about fire safety. At the breakfast event, a full meal will be served to all and a wide range of activities will be held for kids from 6 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 5th.
