Pella Regional Health Center will hold their annual Pella in Pink event on Sunday, October 6th, and both school districts in the Tulip City are teaming up to help the cause.

Pella and Pella Christian Schools are holding a friendly competition to see who can raise the most money for the Women’s Health Fund in the Pella Regional Health Center Foundation. 

To raise funds for the cause, each school will be collecting donations online, in their school offices, at their events this week, and at their Pink Out football games on Friday, October 4th. 

To support the Pink Out games, the Pella and Pella Christian student councils are selling short-sleeve t-shirts for $20 and long-sleeve t-shirts for $23 that feature both school’s logos. For the competition, $5 of every t-shirt sold will be counted toward the buyer’s school of choice. 

The online store to purchase shirts closes on Friday, while donations will continue to be collected through October 6th.
