A Newton Main Street Fundraiser this weekend will focus on some downtown living options. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Newton Main Street Executive Director Erin Yeager says the public can see some special second story living spaces available in downtown Newton. The tour will include the new Legacy Apartments, which are about to open in an old Maytag building a few blocks northeast of Newton’s square. Some apartments above storefronts on the north and south side of the square will be featured as well. Yeager says free will donations will be accepted from tour participants, with a suggested donation of $25. All proceeds will go to support future Newton Main Street Projects.
