After getting back to .500 in the Little Hawkeye Conference Tuesday night, the Class 2A #11 ranked Pella Christian volleyball team returns to action this evening at a triangular hosted by Grinnell.
The Eagles will begin their night in the second game of the triangular, competing against Class 2A #14 Grundy Center, before playing in the final match of the evening against the host Tigers. Pella Christian comes into the triangular riding a five match winning streak, and have also won 12 of their last 15 games. Grundy Center has won their last six contests entering tonight’s action, and currently hold a 14-7 overall record on the year. Grinnell is in the midst of a 2-0 week that improved their overall record above .500 to 10-8 on the season. The Tigers defeated Newton on Monday, then topped South Tama on Tuesday.
The Grinnell triangular tonight begins at 5 pm with the Tigers and Spartans opening this evening’s action. The Eagles first match against the ranked Grundy Center squad is slated to start around 6 pm, and will be followed by the match with Grinnell at around 7 pm.
