The annual Log Cabin Days Parade and Celebration is returning to Indianola today, serving as one of the largest fundraisers and events for the Warren County Historical Society.

The event will begin with the annual parade, which begins the lineup at the Warren County Administration Building and travels south on Buxton, then around the Indianola square to travel west on Salem all the way to S M St. and turning south to the Warren County Historical Society. No pre-registration for the parade is required, and lineup begins at 9am, with the parade beginning at 10am.

The theme this year is Warren County Trains That Were, featuring the rich history of trains and depots in Warren County, and how these trains affected the placement of towns and population growth. Multiple other activities will take place over the two-day event at the Warren County Historical Society, for a full list of events and activities, click below.
