The 2024 Knoxville Homecoming Parade will take place on Friday.

The parade will start at 3:00 pm and the route will go along Montgomery St. starting at South Henry St. then go over to Robinson St. and conclude back at South Henry. The parade route and staging area will be closed starting at 2:20 pm so plan an alternate route if you are traveling. The school district reminds everyone attending the parade to not run in front of entries to get candy, to not move cones or barricades, and if you plan to drop someone off make sure you are doing it away from the parade route. Rhonda Douglas with Knoxville High School says this parade is a great way to showcase students, community businesses and organizations, alumni, and school pride.

“Just come and support the kids because they are in the parade. All of our athletes are in the parade and different organizations. Just come and have a good time.”

The parade is not taking any more entries.
