Rehearsals are underway for the Knoxville Area Community Theatre (K-ACT) production of Fiddler on the Roof. 

This musical will be presented November 1st, 2nd and 3rd at the Knoxville Performing Arts Center. The story is set in the early 1900s and centers on Tevye, a milkman in the village of Anatevka, in what is now the country of Ukraine. The show features many songs, including “Sunrise, Sunset,” “If I Were a Rich Man” and “Matchmaker, Matchmaker”. Dan Anderson plays Tevye, with wife Golde portrayed by Jana DeZwarte. Their daughters are played by Claire Schneider, Rebekah Bennett, Kadyn Boyd, Anni Winward and Kaylee Figland.

Other cast members include Carol Adkins, Drew Adkins, Marty Adkins, Carla Bauer, Noa Bauer, Denise Becker, Kristy Bennett, Brian Black, Phyllis Boyer, RaShaun Boyer, John Callahan, Julie Collins, Avery Dittmer, Carson Dittmer, Callie Ervin, Nicole Ervin, Ian Heetland, Ash Rowan Jackson, Logan Jackson, Mary Kramer, Jason Krasko, Teresa Little, Greg May, Ainsley Peterson, Mary Piagentini, Thomas Salz, Lily Steenhoek, Robin Stoner, Hannah Thomas, Trey Thomas and Zoie Winward.

The musical is directed by Shawn Pavlik, with musical direction by Jackie Duffy, choreography by Mackenzie Niday and technical direction by Troy Errthum. Kyl Bauer is assistant director, with Greg May and Kyle Winward serving as co-producers.
