Homecoming Week at Knoxville High School starts tomorrow.

The week’s festivities start with dodgeball on Monday at 6:30 pm, and home cross country on Tuesday at Pine Knolls starting at 4:15 pm. On Thursday there will be a Randy Wilson Track ribbon cutting at 6:15 pm, the pep rally and coronation at 6:30 pm and then powderpuff football and ironman volleyball. On Friday there will be the homecoming parade at 3:00 and varsity football game at 7:30 pm. Saturday night will be the homecoming dance at 7:00 pm. The high school will also have different themed dress up days each day of the week. Knoxville High School Student Senate Sponsor Whitney McWilliams says this is a great week to support the kids and take pride in Knoxville.

“Kids just love to show off that they’re Panthers and Panther pride. It’s just a really good opportunity for the community to see what we do. All of the great kids and all of the great activities and teachers as well. Just kind of building that relationship between community and school and showcasing it.”
