Following an uneven weekend tournament performance in Carlisle, the Pella volleyball team will return to Little Hawkeye Conference play tonight aiming to stay undefeated ahead of a conference title showdown next week. The #5 in Class 4A Dutch (30-6 overall, 3-0 in the LHC) head to Oskaloosa this evening with eyes of protecting their 3-0 league record and to try and put a 2-2 Saturday record behind them. The Indians (6-13 overall, 0-3 in the LHC) will aim to play spoiler behind senior hitters Gracie DeRonde (2.3 kills per set) and Dasia Foster (1.8 kills per set). Pella swept Oskaloosa in two matches in 2023 and will look to improve upon their 16-9 series record. First serve is scheduled for 7:15 this evening in Oskaloosa.
Also in action today, the Pella cross country teams minus their top varsity runners will compete at Williamsburg. The Dutch will be scored as a varsity team. Racing begins at 5 p.m.
