LifeServe Blood Center has announced that they are sponsoring Pella in Pink, an annual event hosted by Pella Regional Health Center aimed at raising awareness for breast cancer and supporting those impacted by the disease. 

Throughout October, LifeServe invites the public to donate blood at the Pella Donor Center to help breast cancer patients during their treatment journey. To accommodate more donors, LifeServe’s Pella Donor Center will be open additional days during the first week of October, offering extended opportunities for community members to donate. 

As part of the Pella in Pink campaign, LifeServe’s Pella Donor Center will be decked out in pink during the first week of October. Donors are encouraged to wear pink to show their support and enjoy pink-themed drinks, snacks, and a pink balloon arch will be set up for donors to take photos after giving their donations.

Additionally, LifeServe will feature a special poster board for donors to share personal breast cancer stories, honor someone they are donating for, and leave messages of support on breast cancer ribbons. These messages will be displayed on the board, which will be presented on October 6th at the annual Pella in Pink event.
