Indianola Football Looks to Get Back in Win Column at Boone

The Indianola football team will take on a much improved Boone Toreadors squad as they fight for district wins tonight. The Indians fell on a last-second field goal to Ballard after being shut out in the first half last week, and lost on the scoreboard despite earning 266 yards of offense compared to 201 to the Bombers, and outscoring Ballard 14-3 in the second half. Indianola head coach Eric Kluver tells KNIA Sports they simply can’t have a slow start like they’ve had in their two losses against Pella and Ballard, and stopping the run will be important against a fierce Boone offensive attack.

The game can be heard live on 94.3 KNIA, with Andrew Swadner and Rob Hawkins on the call. Pregame coverage begins at 6:30pm, with kickoff at 7pm.
