October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a month set aside each year that aims to promote screening and prevention of the disease, which affects 2.3 million women worldwide. Warren County has partnered with Clarke County Public Health to provide “Care for Yourself” services to Warren County residents, which offers eligible individuals free or low-cost screenings, including clinical breast exams, mammograms, Pap tests, and HPV testing. Routine screenings are vital for early detection and prevention.
