The Newton YMCA is preparing for their 8th Annual Family Fall Festival. The family friendly event is from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 25th. Newton YMCA Director of Operations Erick Zehr says the outdoor/indoor Family Fall Festival is a staple of all the great fun halloween events held around town.

“The outdoor element is our trunk or treat. We have over two dozen trunks full of candy donated by various businesses around town. Then the kids can go inside for fun activities as well. This year we have some Disney Princesses coming, which is always fun.”

Zehr says kids and family activities are really important to the YMCA, and many of the events and programs they offer are because of donations from within the community.
