The 2024 Knoxville Homecoming Parade was held on Friday.

The parade was a chance for community organizations, businesses, and the school district to show off their Panther pride during homecoming week. There was a wide variety of floats and entries that lined the parade route, and the event saw a good turnout from the community. Knoxville High School Student Senate Sponsor Whitney McWilliams says homecoming is a great week to support the kids and take pride in Knoxville.

“Kids just love to show off that they’re Panthers and Panther pride. It’s just a really good opportunity for the community to see what we do. All of the great kids and all of the great activities and teachers as well. Just kind of building that relationship between community and school and showcasing it.”

The homecoming festivities concluded with the football game held last night and the annual homecoming dance will be held tonight.
