Melcher-Dallas Sports has another busy week ahead with Cross Country runners heading to Centerville on Tuesday, and volleyball hosting Moulton-Udell for senior night on Thursday. The Saints lost a tough outing to rival Twin Cedars on Thursday three sets to two. Coach Jesyka Nolte tells KNIA Sports, many teams may take her team lightly, and she wants to get across to her players to take advantage.

Nolte: “I’m hoping we can go farther. I know there are some teams that think Melcher is a team they can wins easily from, and when we’re clicking on all cylinders we’re going to get some wins in the postseason.”

Meanwhile, football will travel to BGM. The Saints’ playoffs hopes were dashed last week in their loss to Moravia on Friday. Volleyball will end the week at an invitational in Wayne.
