Pella Corporation announced its plans to support Manufacturing Month in its Pella location and throughout the state of Iowa on Manufacturing Day.

October is designated for Manufacturing Month throughout the nation. This recognition celebrates manufacturing employees, educates youth on the merits of a manufacturing career, and highlights the importance of manufacturing to a community.

“The future of our business and our communities is dependent on a strong manufacturing sector,” said Kevin Gaul, Director of Operations, Wood & Fiberglass. “Manufacturing today is highly innovative and technically advanced. This is why I always encourage people to consider a career in manufacturing. The opportunities are endless, and I enjoy seeing our team members taking technology and finding unique ways to create products that best serve our customers.” 

Pella Corporation is welcoming nearly 200 Pella Community Middle School 8th graders on October 17th to tour the Pella plant and engage in interactive events and competitions within the plant facility and test labs.

To support and celebrate employees who have chosen the manufacturing field, Pella Corporation also provided a catered lunch on October 3rd and is having company trivia activities throughout the month.
