The Indianola Main Street Board has announced Erica Roberts has been selected as the first Executive Director of Indianola Main Street. Roberts previously served as Board President of the Indianola Merchants Association, and has been a business owner/operator in Indianola for over 20 years, most recently owning Roots on the downtown Indianola square. Indianola was designated as a Main Street Iowa Community in August, which will help provide grant funding, in addition to various services and training opportunities to build the capacity of the revitalization and enhancement effort.
