The Pella Cross Country teams finished their regular season with victories at Hillcrest Academy Monday evening.

Both the No. 1 in 3A girls and No. 2 in 3A boys Dutch teams won, with the team’s top JV runners also each placing as runners up.

For the girls, their top five runners all placed in the top five individually and also ran the fastest times for the Pella program at the course in rural Kalona. This included Marissa Ferebee (18:18.16), Elsie Brenneman (18:36.55), Ruth Dunham (19:29.04), Mara Schiebout (19:37.17), and Raegan Snieder (19:38.27). Carleigh Altwine placed 6th at 19:59.72.

The Dutch boys swept up the top five spots in their race as well, led by Canaan Dunham (16:06.78), Devon Browne (16:42.65), Mason Gaulke (17:00.43), Jonah Ebersole (17:05.66), and Noah Schuknecht (17:11.13).

Pella returns to action at the Little Hawkeye Conference championships on October 14th in Newton.
