The ranked Pella Christian cross country teams wrap up regular season action this afternoon, traveling to Centerville to compete in the Big Red Invitational.

The Eagles are coming off of six days away from competition, most recently running at the Williamsburg meet last Tuesday. The Class 2A #13 Pella Christian girls took ninth place in that meet, and the #15 boys squad also finished ninth in their race. Ending their regular season at the Big Red Invitational for the third straight year, the Eagles will compete against three other ranked schools in each field. In addition to Pella Christian, the girls race will feature 3A #3 Fort Madison, 2A #6 Albia, and 2A #8 PCM. The ranked Eagle boys will compete against 3A #18 Fort Madison, 3A #20 Oskaloosa and 2A #2 Chariton.

The Big Red Invitational today at Centerville Lakeview Complex is scheduled to start at 5:15 pm.
